Admit One, Inc. The Radio
Imagine today’s technology in an early 1900’s package. That’s exactly what our team was able to accomplish with this one-of-a-kind home office project. This mansion was built in 1906 & the client wanted the room to mimic the look of an old railroad car from the same era.
We asked ourselves what the primary functions of this room and AV elements would be then set out to incorporate those functions into a rejuvenated antique radio. Our goal was to use the radio as the primary control interface in the room.
We customized this 1920s Atwater Kent Model 46 Radio & F Series speakers into a modern, 21st-century system complete hidden 4K screen. From the drawing board to fruition this project has been over a year in the making. We think this is an innovative solution because it’s completely custom. Not only has it taken our entire teams AV knowhow, it’s required new skill sets that fall outside of our everyday tasks to complete this project and accommodate this specific client request. While it’s a physically small solutions it’s been a monumental task for our team that we’re incredibly proud of! This is one of the most innovative things we’ve done as a team in the history of our company.
