This homeowner wanted a theater where he and his family could relax and watch some of Hollywood’s finest actors along with a few of his closest friends. His requirements were simple 1. Fit the largest screen possible into the room to show full 1080P movies. 2. Audio had to be extremely accurate yet be able to put that huge smile on the face of a first-time visitor when listening to explosions during a Mission Impossible Movie. 3. Aesthetics were just as important as the sound and video and the owner wanted rich dark woods on just about all surfaces.

We knew the homeowner loved rich dark wood, but we knew we had to think outside the box for something new. LED lights are something we love as they eliminate the striations you typically find with rope lights but how could we bring them into the room without just locating them inside the cove molding? LED lighting was also added behind the pillar to add depth to them as well as showing off the air gap that leads to a bass trap hidden behind and inside the pillar. Lastly, floating acoustic clouds were created and suspended from the ceiling along with LED accent lighting to finish off the room. As the owner said: Mission accomplished!
